A short biography

I was born in Kassel/Germany in the year 1942 under the zodiac sign of Aries, the ram. After school I trained as a secretary, comprehensively studying all aspects of office duties, including typing and shorthand and worked as a clerk in different companies. In 1963, I went to the USA as an au pair to improve my English.

In 1964 I returned to Germany and decided to learn more about office work. So I went to school and took a special secretarial course, at the end of which I received a secretarial diploma and worked many years as a secretary and PA. In 1965 I was married and, in 1970, I gave birth to a son. I stayed at home for almost 15 years and tried to educate and bring up my son. Meanwhile I was able to help my husband in his different business activities. In 1985, I again went back to work as a secretary.

When I was 47 years old, I decided to train as a beautician. From 1990 until my retirement in 2002 I then did a second job in a well-known institute as a beautician and then, for nearly eight years, as a lecturer and teacher. I taught my students for two months in the spring and, in the autumn, I did sports massages.

I have to tell you that I always loved keeping a diary. It was for this reason that I started 2011 to write books for children, passing on my own experiences and creating short stories, factual reports, travel stories and novels
